Hey all, I finally decided to rebuild my motor. It only took me three years of looking at it every day in the garage to get me to do it. My cousin recommended a machine shop in Connecticut. We took the motor to them. They did a ton of work, then went out of business. Long story short, I was able to get my engine and all my parts back. They completely rebuilt the heads, dipped and treated the block, machined the cylinders, etc. They also, sent my crank out to be machined and balanced. On the positive, I only gave them about 2k as a deposit. The work into the motor and crank far exceeds that already. The bad news, I need a new shop to build me a rotating assembly. I am looking for a machine shop in the tri-state area that can reassemble and deliver me a sealed motor. If I have to ship it, I will probably reach out to Kyle at IPP. I’m trying to keep things local, but I’m open to suggestions. Thanks in advance for any guidance, Sean 91 TT 5spd
